A WORD ABOUT OUR PORCELAIN DOLLS

Every doll created in our workshop is handmade, one at a time. The doll parts are created from commercially available molds, which were cast from original sculptures by various doll artists. We use only authorized molds and always give credit to the original artist. A doll recreated to look like the original artist's finished doll is called a "reproduction". The doll is also signed by the reproduction artist.

 INTERPRETIVE DOLL ART

 An "interpretation" is an original creation cast from the molds of another artist's sculptures, but instad of making a reproduction, the interpretive artist designs a new and unique doll. The doll is signed by the interpretation artist.
